Apple TV+ has announced that the brand-new comedy series, "Bad Monkey," will premiere on Wednesday, August 14th. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen, and it follows a detective turned restaurant inspector who becomes entangled in a world of greed and corruption after a tourist's body is discovered in a marina.
Synopsis
"Bad Monkey" is a modern take on the classic P.I. serials of television's past. The series stars Vince Vaughn as Andrew Yancy, a former detective who is now working as a restaurant inspector in Southern Florida. When the body of a tourist is found in a marina, Yancy becomes involved in the investigation, and he quickly discovers that the case is more complicated and dangerous than he initially thought.
The series also stars Michelle Monaghan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rob Delaney, and Meredith Hagner. It is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Apple TV+.
