Apple TV+ Debuts Trailer for "Bad Monkey"
Vince Vaughn Takes on the Keys in New Dramedy
Based on Carl Hiaasen's Bestseller
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for its upcoming dramedy series, "Bad Monkey," based on Carl Hiaasen's New York Times bestselling novel. The show stars Vince Vaughn as Andrew Yancy, a health inspector who gets himself into a murder investigation after finding a human arm in a cooler at a local restaurant.
The trailer opens with Yancy, a divorced and somewhat disillusioned man, being transferred to the Keys after a failed stint in Miami. While inspecting a restaurant, he comes across the severed arm, setting him on a wild goose chase that uncovers a complex web of crime and corruption.
The ensemble cast includes L Scott Caldwell as Zillah, Yancy's wise and eccentric mentor; Rob Delaney as Oscar, a former child star struggling with addiction; and Meredith Hagner as Bonnie, a marine biologist and Yancy's love interest. Together, they navigate the quirky and often dangerous underbelly of the Florida Keys.
