2023 Summer Ferry Schedule Released
Reduced Service Due to Staffing Shortages
Effective May 1 through September 30, the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) will implement a modified summer ferry schedule. This schedule represents a baseline service level that will be expanded as crewing improves.
The changes are necessary due to staffing shortages. Multiple ferries are currently out of commission as a result of these shortages.
The modified schedule allows passengers to plan trips ranging from quick round trips to multi-stop adventures. The schedule can be viewed by day, port of call, or connection.
In order to provide reliable service, the summer schedule will include the MV Columbia, the MV LeConte, and the MV Hubbard.
